Review a finished inspection
Portfolio → Inspections~4 min
Open a completed inspection to see what was agreed on site, what each side owes, and the make, model and serial of every appliance — captured from the plates so you can troubleshoot a guest issue before sending anyone out.
Steps
7 steps- 1Open Portfolio → Inspections. Completed visits show a Complete badge; anything still running shows In Progress.
- 2Open the inspection you want. The results sit at the top of the first section.
- 3Read the visit recap. If the visit was recorded, you get a summary plus two lists — what the owner agreed to handle and what your team owes. Each item shows the exact words that were said.
- 4Tap any quote to hear that moment from the recording. Use it to settle who said what.
- 5Accept the items you want to keep and dismiss the rest. Nothing becomes real work until you accept it.
- 6Scroll to Appliances on file for the make, model and serial read off each plate. Use Copy to paste the list into a message or a work order.
- 7Optionally send the owner a plain-language summary of what they agreed to — it only includes items you have accepted.
If something's off
- If the recap says the recording is still being written up — give it a minute and it refreshes itself — or press Write it up now to process it immediately.
- If there is no recap at all — the visit was not recorded — either consent was declined on site or the microphone was unavailable. The checklist, photos and appliances are unaffected.
- If a quote will not play — playback only covers the opening stretch of a long visit; the written quote is still the record.
- If an item is attributed to the wrong person — check the speaker label — Speaker unclear means we could not tell who was talking and you should not treat it as a commitment.
- If a guest reports a broken appliance — look it up under Appliances on file and try the fix for that exact model first — most calls are a reset, a filter or a tripped switch, and a contractor visit is the expensive last resort.
- If an appliance is missing from the list — its plate was not photographed during the inspection — add a photo of the plate on the next visit and it fills in automatically.
