    Managing properties & listings

Change a property's rent and fees — and where the change shows up

    Portfolio → All Properties → (open a property) → Rates & fees~2 min
A property has ONE rate-and-fee schedule. Edit it from the Listings Dashboard or from the property's own Rates & fees card — both write the same record, and every syndication feed, proposal and go-live step reads it.

    Steps

    5 steps
    1. 1Open the property and find the Rates & fees card (or open Portfolio → Listings Dashboard and use the pencil on the Fees column — they are the same schedule).
    2. 2Edit the monthly rent and any fee, then Save.
    3. 3The change is immediate in Rentology: Listings Dashboard, the property card, the MTR proposal builder and the go-live Brand & Rates step all show the new number right away.
    4. 4Zillow, Trulia, HotPads, Realtor.com and RentPath pick it up on their next scheduled pull of your feed — roughly every 2 hours, not instantly.
    5. 5Use Copy fees to paste the whole schedule into an email to a prospect.

    If something's off

    • If you only change the rent — every other fee is kept exactly as it was — a rate edit never clears the fee schedule, and a fee edit never clears the rent.
    • If you clear a fee box and save — that fee is removed on purpose. Leave a box untouched to keep its value.
    • If a listing site still shows the old rent — the feed is pull-based — wait for the next pull. Nothing on your side needs re-sending.
    • If you need the same schedule on several properties — use 'Also apply these fees to' in the Listings Dashboard editor and tick the other properties.
    • If the edit controls aren't there — editing rates and fees is admin-only; everyone else sees the schedule read-only.
    • If nightly Airbnb or VRBO pricing looks unchanged — that is correct — nightly rates come from PriceLabs, not from this schedule. This is the monthly/mid-term rent the rental feeds publish.
