Far-out bookings: no discount, and an optional premium

    Business → Pricing → Prices → a home → Customizations → Far-out pricing~1 min
A guest who books three months or more ahead is not looking for a deal. By default Rentology gives far-out bookings 0% discount: it lists those nights a little higher, so after OwnerRez takes off its stay discount the owner still gets the full price. On top you can add an extra premium. Both are set per home under Customizations → Far-out pricing on the Prices tab.

    Steps

    7 steps
    1. 1Open Business → Pricing → Prices and click the home's name. The home opens in a panel on the right.
    2. 2On the Prices tab, scroll to Customizations and open the row Far-out pricing. The closed row shows what applies now, for example 'No discount from 90 days · +10%'.
    3. 3'Far out means … or more days before arrival' is 90 days (about three months) unless you type another number.
    4. 4'No discount for far-out bookings' is on for every home by default. Leave it on, or switch it off if far-out guests should get the normal stay discounts.
    5. 5To charge early bookers more, type a percent in 'Extra premium', for example 10. 0 means no premium.
    6. 6Click Save & Refresh at the top. Every night is re-priced and sent to OwnerRez; Airbnb shows the new prices within about 15 minutes.
    7. 7Check it: click a night more than 90 days out on the calendar. The list under the bar names 'far out: no discount' and, if set, 'far out premium'.

    If something's off

    • If the guest still sees a stay discount on Airbnb — that is expected. OwnerRez cannot switch a weekly or 3-night discount off by booking date, so Rentology raises the far-out price instead. After the discount the guest pays about the normal price.
    • If a night is already booked — nothing changes for that guest. Far-out pricing only applies to open nights.
    • If you typed a price on a night yourself — your price wins. Far-out pricing does not change it.
    • If the price stops at a round number — that is the home's Maximum price. Raise Max on top of the Prices tab if far-out nights should go higher.
    • If the home has fewer than 3 past stays — Rentology cannot yet tell what the stay discounts cost on average, so it makes up only the early-bird discount. Add a premium if you want far-out nights higher right away.
