Set a nightly price by hand on a home Rentology prices (SOP)
Business → Pricing → Revenue Lab~2 min per night
On a home priced by Rentology's own engine, you can set the price for any single night yourself in the Revenue Lab. Your price wins over the engine and goes to OwnerRez at once, and from there to Airbnb and your booking site. Only the owner's maximum and the owner's floor still apply. Click Remove to hand the night back.
Steps
8 steps- 1Open Business → Pricing → Revenue Lab.
- 2Pick the home in the 'Pick a property' box at the top right. Check the green banner reads 'LIVE — Rentology prices this home'. An amber 'SHADOW MODE' banner means Rentology does not publish this home yet: you can still save a price, and it goes live once the home is priced by Rentology.
- 3Use the arrows next to the month to find the month, then click the night on either calendar. The left calendar is 'Live now · OwnerRez' (what guests see today), the right one is 'Rentology Revenue Brain' (Rentology's plan).
- 4In the day panel on the right, read both prices and the 'Daily Decision' first, so you know why Rentology chose its price.
- 5Under 'Your price for this night', type the nightly price in whole dollars and click Save. Rentology recalculates the home and sends the price to OwnerRez. The message 'Your price is saved and sent to OwnerRez' confirms it; Airbnb shows it within about 15 minutes.
- 6Check it: the box now reads 'Set by hand: $…', and under 'Rentology rules applied' you see the line 'Your price for this night'. If a line 'Owner maximum' or 'Owner minimum' follows it, the price was moved to the owner's limit (see below).
- 7For the next night, click Next Day and repeat. Each night is set on its own.
- 8Post a short note to the revenue manager in Team Hub: the home, the nights, your price and why (event, special guest, gap to fill).

If something's off
- If you want Rentology to price the night again — click the night, then Remove under 'Your price for this night'. Rentology prices the night again at once and sends it to OwnerRez.
- If your price is above the owner's maximum — Rentology lowers it to the owner's maximum. That limit is agreed with the owner; ask the revenue manager if it needs to change.
- If your price is under the owner's floor — Rentology lifts it to the owner's floor, or, when the home allows pricing below the floor, to the lowest price that home allows today. Such a night is labelled 'Below owner floor'. Never change the floor or the limit yourself.
- If the Save button stays grey — type a number above zero. The box does not appear for past nights or for nights that are already booked or blocked.
- If you see an error after Save — the price is saved, but it did not reach OwnerRez. Send the home and the night to the revenue manager in Team Hub the same day.
- If the home is still priced by PriceLabs — set the night in PriceLabs instead. A price saved in the Revenue Lab only goes live once Rentology prices the home.
