Managing properties & listings
Choose which address your prospecting emails come from
Settings → Corporate Outreach~5 min
Pick the address corporate prospecting emails are sent from, set the signature, and fix the most common reason outreach stops going out: an address your mailbox is not allowed to send under.
Steps
6 steps- 1Open Settings → Corporate Outreach. The first card shows which mailbox your prospecting email goes out through — this is one of your own connected mailboxes, so replies land in your inbox.
- 2Under Send from, choose an address. The list contains only addresses your mail provider has confirmed for that mailbox; anything else would be refused when the email is sent, and nothing would go out.
- 3Set the company name shown to the recipient. That is what appears in their inbox next to the address.
- 4Set the opt-out address. It is printed at the foot of every prospecting email because the law requires it, so use one somebody actually reads.
- 5Fill in the signature — name, job title, reply-to address and phone. Leave the name empty to sign as your team rather than invent a person.
- 6Click Save. The address is checked with your mail provider before anything is stored. If it will not work, nothing is saved and you are told why.
If something's off
- If the address you want is not in the list — your mail provider has not confirmed it for that mailbox yet. Add it there as a send-as address, click the confirmation link they email you, then come back and it will appear.
- If an address shows as waiting for confirmation — open that mailbox, find the confirmation email from your provider and click the link inside it. Until you do, the address cannot be used and choosing it would stop outreach entirely.
- If the page says no mailbox is connected — connect one under Settings → Email first. Prospecting email never goes out on a shared platform address, so without a connected mailbox nothing can be sent.
- If prospecting emails have stopped going out and you do not know why — open this page. If the sender address is one your mailbox may not use, it is shown in red at the top and that is almost always the cause. Pick a confirmed address and save.
- If you save and are told the organization has no postal address — add it under Settings → Branding & Identity. Marketing email must carry a real postal address by law, and sending stays blocked until it is there.
- If you want a colleague to see every pitch that goes out — use a hidden copy rather than a visible one. A visible copy shows the recipient that someone else was copied, which makes a personal email read like a bulk send.
