Managing properties & listings
Edit a direct booking website and guidebook — sections, content, and where the answers come from
Admin → Direct Booking Sites → Settings~5 min
Every booking site has a Settings dialog: choose which sections the public page shows, edit the pet policy, parking, Wi-Fi and more — all prefilled from the owner's onboarding answers, so you edit instead of retyping.
Steps
6 steps- 1Sites are created from a property's Marketing tab or the Go-Live pipeline — once the property has a brand name and enough photos, Generate builds the page and it publishes automatically when it clears the quality bar.
- 2To change what an existing site shows, open Admin → Direct Booking Sites and click Settings on the site's card.
- 3The Booking website tab lists every section the public page can show — video tour, 3D tour, floor plans, amenities, key features, day trips, location & schools, reviews, pet policy. Switch any of them off to hide them; the change is live on the next page load, no regeneration needed.
- 4Below the switches, edit the pet policy, tagline, school district, and community amenities. Fields marked 'From owner onboarding' were prefilled from the owner's onboarding answers — edit anything and Save; your edit wins from then on.
- 5The Guidebook tab edits what guests see after booking: parking instructions, Wi-Fi, check-in and check-out times, and the emergency & utilities card (water shutoff, breaker panel, fire extinguisher, gas shutoff) — same prefill rule.
- 6Save each tab separately, then use View Site to confirm the public page.
If something's off
- If a section you switched on still doesn't appear — the section also needs content — a hidden video switch can't show a video that was never added. Add the media or text on the property, then re-check.
- If a field shows 'From owner onboarding' but the value is wrong — just edit it and save — your edit becomes the value everywhere and the onboarding answer is no longer used for that field.
- If the prefilled answers look like they belong to a different unit — they can — when a unit has no onboarding submission of its own, the newest submission from the same owner is used, and the dialog says so. Edit any field that differs for this unit.
- If you clicked Regenerate and lost an edit — Regenerate rebuilds the community amenities field from scratch — re-save it in Settings afterwards. Section visibility, the pet policy and guidebook edits all survive a regeneration.
- If the Guidebook tab says there is no guidebook yet — generate it from the property's Go-Live pipeline first — the tab edits an existing guidebook, it doesn't create one.
- If you don't see the Settings button — the Direct Booking Sites panel is in the Admin area — you need an admin role in your organization.
